After Chance The Rapper owned the Grammy’s on Sunday night, fellow rapper Kendrick Lamar sent him a congratulatory text with a message that said “God is moving”
Chance The Rapper shared the text exchange he had with Kendrick with his social media followers.
Kendrick, who is also a Christian, recently told Complex that his career is divinely inspired.
“I got a greater purpose,” Lamar said. “God put something in my heart to get across and that’s what I’m going to focus on, using my voice as an instrument and doing what needs to be done.”
Lamar, and Chance, are both considered secular rappers, but neither miss an opportunity to glorify God.
