Keep Your Colored Hair Beautiful – Clairol CC Conditioning Cream [Sponsored]

A couple weeks ago I colored my hair with Clairol Nice 'N Easy (check out my post and video about it here). One of my biggest fears about coloring my hair is that it would LOOK dyed - flat color, fried ends, dry tresses. I love how the conditioner is specific to the type of color you chose for your hair. As a brunette, I love knowing this conditioner is made to help lock in my dark color. As you can tell from the almost empty bottle in this photo, I have been using it weekly and I have been seeing amazing results from it.

The first time I used it, it was right after rinsing the dye from my hair. Once the water ran clear, I gently squeezed out any excess water from my hair, squeezed a pretty generous dollop onto my palm and spread it from root to tip. I then stepped out of the shower stream and for the next few minutes did other things in the shower - shaved my legs, washed my face, etc. I then rinsed completely and as you saw in my video, the end result was really soft , shiny, and healthy looking.

Since then, I've added the Clairol CC Conditioning Cream to my Sunday shower routine. As a working mom, I'm lucky to get in a daily shower, but Sundays are a day where I can have more than a few minutes. I use Sundays to do a face mask or exfoliator, do a better job shaving, or do a hair mask or heavy duty conditioner. After shampooing, I use it in place of my daily conditioner, and as I did the first time, I leave it in for about five minutes as I complete other shower tasks. It rinses easily, and the end result is super shiny hair and continuous color. By using the CC Conditioning Cream on a regular basis, I maintain my color longer and my hair stays soft and shiny. It really does help my hair look natural. While I may not be ashamed of dying my hair, I never want it to LOOK dyed! I love catching my reflection in the rearview mirror driving to work each Monday after using the Clairol CC Conditioning Cream, seeing the sun shine in my hair, and how glossy and rich it looks!
