Katy Perry Is Reportedly Helping Robert Pattinson Through His Breakup
What’s that thing about the best way to get over a breakup – something about hanging out with Katy Perry? That’s how Robert Pattinson is reportedly dealing with his rumored split from FKA Twigs (now FKA RPattzsgirlfriend). And all of a sudden, that story about Katy and Robert going out to dinner this summer seems that much more suspicious.
A source tells E! News that Robert Pattinson and FKA Twigs are officially done after three years, and that he’s the one who ended it. But that doesn’t mean Robert isn’t sad about his split. Sources say that any moody tears he might have to cry are being absorbed by Katy Perry’s shoulder:
“They talk on the phone regularly and make sure to see each other when they both aren’t away working. Katy has always been a good friend to Rob over the years and has been there for him emotionally.
Although they have been flirtatiously romantic, they have still remained good friends. Rob loves that Katy is a free spirit and she has given him good advice when it comes to relationships.”
Katy Perry is currently on her Witness: The Tour tour, but she makes sure to FaceTime Robert when possible.
I don’t see things ending well for Robert and Katy if all that flirtatiousness turns their friendship into a relationship. They’re just not on the same page right now. Katy has already left her artsy hipster phase and entered her eccentric 80s business lady phase. Robert could convince her to go back. But in all likelihood he’d have to switch over to big shoulder-padded sport coats and a Flock of Seagulls hair situation. Actually, I bet he wouldn’t be too resistant to that part.
