So elegant, so beautiful, today’s wedding at the gorgeous Gracehill Vineyard Estate includes so many fantastic ideas for how to pose with you man while keeping things natural (believe me it’s harder than you think, but it helps when you have an amazing photographer like Kate to direct you!) “We always knew wanted a simple yet elegant wedding and we wanted to celebrate it with family and close friends. We wanted it to represent us.
We have decided on an vineyard estate in the country, only few kilometers outside of Auckland with beautifully manicured grounds and private lake for the venue.
I’m a graphic designer so I always knew I would design our wedding invitations. I have used fine Italian paper and envelopes as well as a beautiful shimmering paper with a floral design from the Cristina Re range. The combination looked beautiful together and matched the look and feel of the wedding really well and went with our color palette which was white/cream and cornflower blue. I produced the invitations myself. I have also designed matching placement cards, menus and a seating chart.
The florist did a great job with the bouquets and center pieces. They were made of cream roses and white lisianthus. I loved their simplicity.
My dress was designed by Jane Yeh. It was a simple, white silk chiffon dress with a beautiful beaded silver belt. I also wore a white cathedral veil and silver J.Crew heels.”
