Kashi Cereal Review

This week our Virtual Potluck crew was asked to review new Kashi products. The fine folks at Kashi sent me three varieties to try. I could just eat it, or create a recipe with it. I decided on the latter, and chose to eat it! When I have cereal, I prefer it in a bowl with ice cold milk.

The varieties sent included:

Berry Blossoms:

This was my favorite, and my sons as well. I grew up in the 70′s and loved Captain Crunch with Crunch Berries! If you liked Crunch Berries, you will love this one too! Berry Blossoms is part of Kashi’s Kid Friendly Top 10!

Honey Sunshine:

It had a big honey flavor, was slightly sweet, and big on crunch. It is made with Sweet Wildflower Honey, so no wonder!

Cinnamon Harvest:

With 47 whole grains, high fiber, low fat and no sodium, it is a great way to start the day! It had big cinnamon flavor, and is made with organic cinnamon and organic evaported cane juice crystals. My daughter popped in for the weekend from college and took this one back with her! My son’s friend that was visiting liked this one too.

The Kashi brand has been around for 25 years. I really enjoy Kashi products. With Kashi you know that you are getting nutritious, minimally processed food, free of refined sugars and artificial additives. Their Go Lean, that I did not review is one of my favorite cereals.
