In 2017, LG launched the #KarSalaam campaign to salute Indian Armed Forces on the Republic Day. #KarSalaam invited all Indians to share their messages of gratitude and good wishes for India's soldiers. The initiative proved to be a grand success. It helped LG achieve a Guinneess World Record for the "Longest line of sticky notes." All these sticky notes had messages collected from all over India for the brave armed men and women of Indian Armed Forces. As part of the campaign, LG also donated one crore rupees to the CRPF welfare Fund.
This year too, LG is back with the #KarSalaam Campaign to celebrate India's 69 th Republic Day. Through various offline and online channels, LG invites Indians to share their messages for India's brave soldiers. The families of soldiers and martyrs are also invited to share their stories with the public. And while the campaign is running, LG will donate a portion from every purchase of an LG product for the welfare of our armed bravehearts, and their families.

This is a small step on behalf of LG for all those brave souls who are working extremely hard to keep our country and its citizens safe and secure. The selfless devotion our armed forces calls for salutation and what could be a better occasion than this Republic Day. When the campaign starts, you will be able to share your messages at LG brand stores, social media channels and at www.lg.com/in/karsalaam. India's soldiers and their families are also invited to post their messages on the portal.
