Karen Clark Sheard is now Dr. Karen Clark Sheard.  The gospel singer was honored with a Doctorate of Theology from the City of Hope Bible College.  Sheard was honored during the colleges Excellence Awards Honors on Sunday evening at the Sheraton in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
