Kanye West didn’t release his highly anticipated “Jesus Is King” album on Friday, but IMAX announced on Saturday that they’ve partnered with West to release a documentary about the project in October.
The film JESUS IS KING will exclusively be shown in IMAX theaters around the world on Oct. 25th.
Along with the announcement, the film’s poster was released.
Also, according to Kim Kardashian, Kanye will drop the “Jesus Is King” album today (Sunday, Sept. 29th) after a listening session in Chicago and NYC. (we will see).

Also, on Friday night Kanye West gave a concert in Detroit filled with songs from the album, and IMAX was also there to film footage for the upcoming film.
Another little tidbit, according to Billboard on the albums closing song “Use This Gospel” Kanye declares that “it’s a hard road to heaven” (that’s the truth!) and features saxophonist Kenny G.
