Plot: A man named Makmur returned from the battlefield. However, Makmur finds Sari, his wife, has died and become a ghost.

Story: Kang Mak from Pee Mak starts when Makmur (Bastian) returns from war to be with his wife Sari (Timothy). His military brothers join him as they recover from their time away. However, they soon discover Sari is dead and has become a ghost.
Makmur doesn’t see it, but Sari starts showing hostile behavior to his military brothers. They must figure out how to tell him and keep their lives together, without telling their brother the truth.

Best Parts
The movie’s highlight is the oddball humor. We see the military brothers trying to uncover the truth, and each idea leads to something more humorous along the way. The performances elevate this, committing to the comedic side of the movie.
Worst Parts
The movie struggles to handle the horror side of things, and the evil side to Sari. It holds too much back from the true evil waiting to be unleashed on everyone involved. The length of the movie is also too long, which tries to fill too much without putting much in.
Final Thoughts –Kang Mak from Pee Mak is fun and a true oddball comedy.
