Kamil Mishara to Return Home

Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) has decided to recall Kamil Mishara from Bangladesh for his alleged breach of rules [(clause no 1 (j)] governing the player’s conduct/behaviour as depicted in his Tour Contract.This was confirmed by Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) yesterday with sending press release.

Accordingly, Mishara, who is a part of the 18-member squad taking part in the ongoing Sri Lanka vs. Bangladesh Series, will be immediately flown back to Sri Lanka.

Upon his return, Sri Lanka Cricket will conduct a full inquiry into the ‘violations’ and on the outcome of the inquiry, further action would be taken against the player. The 21-year-old former Royal College wicket keeper batsman currently playing for NCC has already played three T-20 internationals and yet to play a single Test but he has been named in Test squads 2-3 times.
