Kale Chips…

By Redneckprincess @RdNeckPrincess

Kale before the oven

I am eating well, and I have found some amazing new food to eat. I am addicted to sauerkraut…and these.

Kale chips.

They are so good, and good for you.

Here is how easy it is to make these…

Ingrediants

What you need:

  • 2 large kale leaves
  • lemon juice (optional but delicious)
  • salt (optional)
  • olive oil

Preheat oven to 300°.

What you do:

Wash kale leaves, drying well. Rip the kale pieces up bite sized. I use parchment paper on my pan for easy clean up. Place the kale on pan, spread out.

Drizzle lightly with olive oil and lemon juice, add salt if you like.

Place kale in preheated oven and cook for three minutes. Check the kale at this point and give it a stir. Now I do it for a minute at a time from here on in. The kale cooks fast. I like mine tender on the stem part and a little crunchy on the edges. You really just have to watch it. Generally it should take about 5 minutes all together.

Kale

It’s that easy. I eat about 2 cups of kale every day. So good….

Let me know if you have any delicious variations on this yummy recipe!
