One of such celebrity wedding becoming talk of the town these days is Abhishek Kapoor’s marriage. Abhishek is known for directing his very famous movies Rock On!! & Kai Po Che!. He got married with his long time girlfriend and actress Pragya Yadav in Iskon Temple, Mumbai on 4th May 2015.
Abhishek is an actor turned directory, who acted in a movie in 1996 with Twinkle Khanna, named ‘Uff! Yeh Mohabbat’, directed by Vipin Handa. Other than this he was also there in two more movies including Aashique Mastane and Shikaar. He debuted as a director with movie Aryan: Unbreakable, which was written also by him in 2006. Later, he came with 2 very famous and award winning movies Rock On!! & Kai Po Che! in 2008 and 2013 respectively. These two movies brought him great success and he won the FilmFare award for the best story for Rock ON!! He was also nominated for the best director award for the same. He met Pragya in 2013, when he was preparing for ‘kao Po Che ’ and started dating her. They got engaged in the same years as well and have been living in a live-in since. Finally they decided to tie the knot, where Abhishek is busy with his next film ‘Fitoor’, starring Aditya Roy Kapur, Katrina Kaif, Rekha and Lara Dutta.
Pragya Yadav belongs to Swedan and worked in a film named ‘Hawaa Hawaai’, directed by Amol Gupte. She met and fell in love with Abhishek in 2013 and is living with him from that time. They both tied the knot in a very simple way in presence of several celebrity guests at Iskon Temple, Mumbai. Some of the celebrities giving their presence there include Jitendra, Shobha Kapoor, Ekta Kapoor, Tushar Kapoor, Maryam Zakaria, Ragini Khanna, Arjun Rampal, Mehr Jesia Rampal, Ali Zafar, Amit Sadh, Mahira Khan, Sohail Khan, Yuvraj Singh, Zaheer Khan, and many others.
