Kadhi Pakora
Kadhi Pakora is a simple dish that we use to make a day before Holi an Indian festival. The gravey mainly contains Yogurt / Curd and Besan / Gram Flour. In that gravey goes fried gram flour dumpling and is served with vegetable pakoras and rice. Kadi Pakora is nutrious, protein rich and easy to make.

Ingredients: -
For Pakora
- Besan / Gram Flour 1/2 cup
- Red Chili Powder 1/2 tsp
- Graam masala Powder 1/2 tsp
- Salt to taste
- Water
- Oil to fry
For Kadhi
- Yogurt / Curd 1 cup
- Besan / Gram Flour 1/2 cup
- Water 4 cup
- Tumeric powder 1 tsp
- Red Chili Powder 1/2 tsp
- Garlic 4-5 cloves crushed
- Salt to taste
For Tempering
- Oil 1 tbsp
- Panchphoran 1 tbsp
- Bay Leaf 1-2
- Asafetids / Hing 1 pinch
- Curry Leaves 1 spring
Method:-
For Pakora
- Mix all the ingredients for pakora except oil and water. Add sufficient water to make a thick but smooth paste and beat well.
- Heat oil in a fry pan or kadai and drop the pakora mixture with help of a spoon one by one.
- Oil should be smoking hot and keep the flame medium after dropping the pakora mixture.
- Fry the pakoras till golden brown and take it out of the oil and keep aside.
Kadhi Pakora
For Kadhi
- Beat the yogurt add besan and 1 cup water. Mix well so that there are no lumps.
- Heat oil in a pan or kadai and add all the ingredients for tempering and fry well for few seconds.
- Now add this mixture to the pan and add more water so it becomes a little thin.
- Add tumeric powder, red chili powder, garlic and salt.
- Boil the kadhi till it becomes thick and let it simmer for some time.
- Add the pakoras and switch off the flame.
- Serve kadhi with steam rice and onion, green chili, cauliflower and potato pakoras.
