After essentially disappearing for two years, I’ll be returning to Hoboken this year for Castle Point Anime 2015.
…Well, get hyped guys, I’m back on the convention trail!!!
So yes, thanks to actually working I now have the money ability to go to many cons this year. I have plans for a few at the moment, but at this point, CPAC is the one I’m most definitely heading to. I’ll be roaming around, taking pictures, actually trying to score some interviews, all that good stuff. I’ll also be doing a panel too.
Yep, panel time! Thanks to advanced internet technology, I’ll be teaming up with manga editor and letterer Abigail Blackman over Skype with a look on what exactly it means to be working in the manga industry! Officially titled Insight Into the Manga Industry (with Editor; yeah, I know, it looks dumb, but I guess the title I had was too long), the Panel starts at 1PM in BC 219. I won’t be doing much, as I’ll be serving as a moderator of the panel. If you’re going to CPAC, stop by, get some insight into manga, and ask questions! There will be prizes. Prizes that may be good…or may be bad. Oh well, I need to give them away somehow!
Other than that, my schedule is below. Note, most of this (especially after 2) is subject to change, but hey, some things look interesting, though I’ll see what I want to do when I get there…
