President Ranil Wickremesinghe has appointed a three-member committee to investigate the allegations in the documentary telecast by British television – Channel 4 over Easter Sunday attacks that claimed 260 lives.
The committee led by retired Supreme Court Judge S. I. Imam, comprises retired Air Force Commander Air Chief Marshal Jayalath Weerakkody and President’s Counsel Harsha A. J. Soza as members.
This 50 minutes long documentary levels serious allegations about the attacks based on the testimonies of whistleblowers.
