Just an Afternoon Stroll…

By Mystatelove @mystatelove

Instead of going on our usual walking route around our neighborhood, Joe, Stella and I explored the Lowry Hill neighborhood in Minneapolis, the Sculpture Garden at Walker Art Center and Loring Park. We are walking/hiking/exploring fanatics if you can’t tell by reading this blog. First, we started in the neighborhoods then made our way over to the north side of Lake of the Isles. There are some gorgeous homes in there, let me tell you! Like these two…my oh my.

On the north side of Lake of the Isles resides the HUGE Kenwood Park. Stella would have ran wild if we let her. There are softball fields, tennis courts, plus the lake right across the street. Does a park get much better than that?

It started to rain a bit so we made our way back toward the car. Of course, once we got there it quit raining so we kept the walking shoes a walkin’. Here’s some photos through the Sculpture Garden which I saw a sign afterward saying that dogs are not allowed through there. Oopsie.

After walking through the Sculpture garden, we took the bridge over to Loring Park to walk through there.
