The Wachowski’s next movie, Jupiter Ascending, has shifted back to February due to extra time needed for VFX. Personally, I think the studio saw that their marketing wasn’t working, and shifted the film back out of the summer so it has less pressure to perform well. Now, Jupiter Ascending can open to 30M in February, and not seem like such a disappointment.
The Channing Tatum/Mila Kunis sci-fi epic will have to contend with Johnny Depp’s Mortedcai as well as the long-delayed Seventh Son, starring Jeff Bridges.
