Popular smartphone brand iQOO under Vivo is going to launch its new high-performance iQOO Z9 smartphone series in China on April 24. Three models are expected to arrive in this series – iQOO Z9, iQOO Z9x and iQOO Z9 Turbo. Ahead of the launch, a lot of information about the phones, from the camera to the display to the charging speed, has been revealed.
iQOO Z9, iQOO Z9x, iQOO Z9 Turbo Specifications (Probable)
Tipster Ishaan Agarwal has teamed up with 91Mobiles to reveal the specifications of the Z9 series. Let’s first look at the lower-end ICO Z9X. It will have a 6.72-inch LCD display with a 120 Hz refresh rate. The phone will be launched as a budget-friendly option with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 processor and a dual rear camera system with a 50-megapixel primary sensor. The Z9X may offer a 3.5mm headphone jack, 44W charging and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
Above this model will be the standard iCo Z9, which will come with a 6.78-inch AMOLED panel with a 144Hz refresh rate. The phone is expected to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor. For photography, the iCo Z9 will feature a 50-megapixel primary camera and a 2-megapixel portrait camera sensor on the rear panel. It will get LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage support. For power backup, the standard iCo Z9 and iCo Z9 Turbo – both models will come with fast 80W charging and under-display fingerprint sensor.
Topping the lineup is the iQOO Z9 Turbo, which will run on Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor, paired with the fastest LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. For photography, the phone will also feature a 50-megapixel primary camera, but its camera system is expected to get a slight upgrade with an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens replacing the secondary portrait sensor. Besides, all three phones in the iQOO Z9 series will be powered by a massive 6,000 mAh battery. With Android 14 OS pre-installed.
