This rusted, faded metal sign on the rue du Temple declares that number 101 was once les fabriques jouets du Temple (the toymakers of the Temple). Although it's not strictly a ghost sign, as it isn't painted onto a wall, the textures and muted colours speak appealingly of its long service above the street. Today, the building contains not a factory but an importer of, among other goods, toys.
