GOF favorite Jonwayne has released the third and final entry in his “Cassette” mixtape series and this one is offered up as a free download so the uninitiated can see what all the hype is about (the first two were cassette-only releases). Cassette 3: The Marion Morrison Mixtape finds the Los Angeles beat-maker and emcee doing his thing over re-interpreted beats from the likes of Don Cannon, DJ Premier, Madlib, and J Dilla, as well as some of his own killer joints. There are also vocal cameos from Captain Murphy (a.k.a. Flying Lotus), Jeremiah Jae and Oliver the 2nd. This is true and real hip-hop at it’s finest.
