Multiple Grammy nominee Jonathan Butler released his new Christmas album “Christmas Together” today.
“The way I like to approach making a record or working on a song: I like texture, I like space, I like beauty. And when I say space, I mean space so that you can actually experience something emotional or spiritual while you’re listening to it.”
Jonathan has several high-profile jazz players on the project, which explains the “Together” title. The guest artists include Sheléa, Dave Koz, Keiko Matsui, Kirk Whalum, among many others. The record features holiday classics, done in the Jonathan Butler style, and one new song that was co-written by Jonathan, “Love Is.”
