Here’s an extra post for the week to share an upcoming event that I’m so proud to be a part of this year.
The Polish Fashion Show is happening on Thursday, May 19th, from 7-9pm, at Lofty Spaces in Dallas. Proceeds benefit Polish Ministries, which is an organization that is dear to my heart. God has called Polish to share the gospel with a generation of young professional women and equip a generation of young professional women to share the gospel. I was lucky to be a part of their biggest fundraiser last year and was honored when they asked me again. BTW, I posted some behind the scenes photos on my facebook page last year!
Young professional women are hungry for spiritual connection but opting out of the place traditionally designed for such connection: the church. Our experience with professional women would later be confirmed by data from the Barna Group and validated with statistics from the U.S. Census Bureau: The only religious behavior that increased among women in the last 20 years was becoming unchurched.
