Online PR News – 01-October-2012 –PORT WASHINGTON, NY — Professional relationship counselor, Barbara J. Peters will be signing copies of her two books on October 4. The book signing will take place at The Dolphin Bookshop in Port Washington, New York from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Join Barbara as she signs copies of her first book, “The Gift of a Lifetime: Building a Marriage That Lasts” along with her latest book, “He Said, She Said, I Said.”

“Over the years I’ve discovered that most relationships can be saved but it takes work. Intimate relationships are constantly changing, evolving, responding to both internal and external influences. This means they need to be worked on constantly. In my two books I provide readers with the tools they need to do this work.”

“I’m thrilled to be signing my books at The Dolphin Bookshop. As a Long Island native, I always appreciate the times I get to return to the state and as an author, I find it very exciting to be at the iconic Dolphin Bookshop. It is the perfect gathering place,” noted Peters (http://barbarajpeters.com).

Peters has been saving marriages through her private counseling practice in Cumming, GA for over ten years. During that time she has developed a treasure trove of tips and advice on how to have a successful marriage. In “The Gift of A Lifetime’, Barbara pulls on her experience as a relationship expert and client case studies to provide the tools and guidance readers need to rekindle and reclaim their relationships. Her second book, “He said, She Said, I Said” provides three perspectives on relationships: the man’s, the woman’s and the counselor’s. The results are a book that shows how thoughts and misconceptions can impact our behavior in relationships and cause problems in communication, trust and intimacy, love and friendship.
