John Mellencamp is the ‘luckiest Guy’ After Surviving Drugs, Alcohol, and a Heart Attack

John Mellencamp may be a life-long cigarette smoker, however he realized he needed to change his way of life after a well being scare in 1994 at age 42.

'That was it. That seems like actual success to me.'
