I have come to realize that investing in quality training gear is worth while, not only will it last but I am a firm believer that it makes you feel good about yourself - thus making you train better. I have got some super new training clothes but my poor trainers have really been worn far too much. I'm naughty and have worn my running training for my aerobics classes, which is a big no-no and I should have two sets of trainers for the activities. Anyways I had decided I needed some new trainers and being the blessed girlfriend I am, my boyfriend had promised me some new running shoes as my Christmas present. We went to a specialist running shop in our town called The Running Fox, where you can test shoes on their treadmill (whilst they film you) to see how you run. It was an amazing way to spend my lunch break the other day and certainly interesting to see which shoes felt and worked the best for me.
Adidas Adistar Salvation 3W Womens Running Trainers
I was best suited to a pair of Sacony trainers or these (above) Adidas trainers. I was obviously drawn to the adidas trainers because I love the colour, I don't usually like black trainers - not sure why but these were an exception of that. On the plus side if I had been running in the mud it would be less noticable! As you can see they go perfectly with my bright green Nike running socks and my Nike running trousers. I decided to test these bad boys out with my specially created insoles. I'm a bit funny with trainers as I love the lightweight ones you can get, but after my two knee operations I always prefer something with a bit of support. If I didn't have that support I'd be worrying everytime I'd go for a run. All went very well with my run and these trainers are worth every penny of their £110. You can buy these online here
