Ever since Kendrick Lamar dropped his verse on Big Sean’s “Control” track about a week ago everyone in the rap game has been waiting to hear some big-name responses and now we’ve got one: Joey Bada$$ has shown up to the party with “Killuminati Pt. 2″, which is more than just some throwaway track. It’s a great rep track, the kind of old-school hip-hop tune where emcees told us how awesome they were, because they were awesome. “I’m Biggie, I’m L, I’m Pun. I’m God’s Son, I’m Pac, Guru, All In One. I’m What They Predicted Before I Come” might be the verse of the year. I personally don’t pay much attention to rappers calling each other out, but if we get a few more kick ass responses like this one, then I’m down. Stream it below.
