Joe Manganiello has lined up another project for when True Blood wraps production on season 6. The actor plays hot werewolf pack master Alcide Herveaux on the HBO series. But he will be trading in the wolf pack when production on the movie Tumbledown begins this October.
Deadline reports that the film will be led by Jason Sudeikis and Rose Byrne and that it will begin shooting in Vancouver in the fall. The general premise of the film is described as a brash writer (Sudeikis) coming into a rural Maine town to investigate the death of a folk music star whose wife is played by Rose Byrne.
Further details such as the character Manganiello is set to play were not disclosed in this report. But if and when we get more information, we’ll post that too.
