Straight after the release of their debut album Faya, Joe Driscoll & Sekou Kouyate are back in Britain for their European tour including a headlining appearance at London’s Jazz Cafe on Friday 25th April.
Expressed in Sousou and English, Faya is a powerful mixture of afrobeat, hip-hop, rock and reggae, rebelling against any genre labels.
Faya is so commanding that even though Kouyate doesn’t speak English and Driscoll doesn’t speak French they transcend into music to create their musical understanding.
