Olice said there was a “strong possibility” their death was connected to the murder of an Afghan immigrant in November. New Mexico State Police, FBI and Marshals Services U.S. are several institutions that help in the investigation. New Mexico Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham said in a Twitter post on Saturday night, “The murder targeted by Muslim residents in Albuquerque is very angry and fully unleassed.”
