jobsDB Mobile App: Easy Job Search on iOS and Android

Call me the Switzerland of bloggers--neutral and famous for my cheese. Kidding aside, blogging just helps boost competition, and so after checking out a competitor's mobile app, I now present a quick review of jobsDB's updated mobile app.
First of all, let me just say how the company's whole new image is cool, current and inviting (you know, just as cool, current and relevant as the fashion accessories at Zalora)! Kudos to the graphic designer, artist and everyone else involved in making jobsDB a whole lot cooler than it was, say, eight years ago.

So what are the most notable features I've found on the jobsDB mobile app? First of all, the app's just like the web version, only simpler and more.. precise. It's still got that unique jobsDB feature where you can have an unlimited number of resumes and cover letters at your disposal, so you can still explore better job opportunities, and this time while you're on the go!

Swiping to the right also reveals a veritable menu of activities and actions like changing the country of the job, showing the list of your saved jobs, customizing your job alerts,  accessing your resumes and cover letters and revealing your job search history. For most of these actions you will need to be logged in.

Personally, I love that this new mobile app allows access to the latest job openings available, and that the app can shortlist jobs that you want to the T.  You can even customize your job alerts so you receive the latest job openings related to your field (or your mother's field, for that matter) since you can save common search queries and have the notification delivered to you via email!

Also--and this is my favorite--the customized job search feature allows you to search jobs by industry, career level, and even the specific city you live in!

 Want a job specifically in Malabon City because you live right smack in the middle of that city? Great!
