The charts above reflect the results of the new Quinnipiac University Poll -- done between February 10th and 14th of a nationwide sample of 1,321 adults with a 2.7 point margin of error.
Much has been made in the press lately about the low job approval numbers of President Biden. This poll has his job approval at only 35%.
But that doesn't necessarily mean the voters want the Republican back in power. The job approval of congressional Republicans is eleven points lower (at 24%). And it's seven points lower than that of congressional Democrats (at 31%).
The truth is that the public is unhappy with everyone in government thanks to inflation, the pandemic, and other issues.
