Jo Malone Nashi Blossom

Hello Freckles Jo Malone Nashi Blossom Limited Edition Summer Scent Cologne Fenwick NewcastleIt's been a while since we had a chat about something beauty related over here. Today I want to introduce you to my summer fragrance, new in from Jo Malone.
I saw the Nashi Blossom cologne popping up all over instagram and was immediately drawn to the bottle. Being a typical blogger, I love seeing the blossom on the trees and the contrast between the pink and white petals against a bright blue sky. So a scent that could evoke the feelings I associate with seeing spring blossom, sun and looking ahead to summer (minus my hayfever) was very intriguing.Hello Freckles Jo Malone Nashi Blossom Limited Edition Summer Scent Cologne Fenwick NewcastleNow I'm still pretty new to Jo Malone, I have Peony and Blush Suede thanks to a very generous Secret Santa campaign I was part of last year, but that's where my collection ends. I regularly smell Pomegranate Noir and Pear and Freesia since a couple of colleagues are fond of spraying them liberally - not that I'm complaining. Then occasionally I'll smell Oud and Bergamot too, from the intense range...and don't get my started on my Aunt, I think she's a walking Jo Malone ambassador!

Anyway, back to Nashi Blossom. On a recent visit to Fenwick we popped into Jo Malone to give the new limited edition scent a go. It's fresh, fruity and floral and obviously I had to pick one up...

With top notes of lemon it's zesty and fresh, bringing that sense of sunshine and summer we're all longing for, heart notes of Nashi Blossom (that's a given though, from the name of the cologne - did you know Nashi means pear in Japanese?) bringing that floral element in, then base notes of white musk to give it a little seductive edge. The packaging is fun and bright, without being tacky or off brand. It stands out on my shelf with the striking green lid and polka dots.

Are you a fan of Jo Malone scents? What do you think of this new limited edition one?
