J.K. Rowling publishes a new surprise book
The lockdown gave us more time. He gave us a new perception of home life and its possibilities. And - listen! listen! - even a new book by J.K. Rowling for children. The work, entitled The Ickabog, one chapter at a time will be published online and made available to everyone and eventually find its version in the library.

We are talking about a new book by Harry Potter? Absolutely not, as the writer wanted to specify in a very long series of tweets, also underlining how the story comes from a not too recent past.
According to what Rowling told, in fact, the manuscript of The Ickabog he was kept in a Net-a-Porter box in the writer's attic during the long break that took after the conclusion of the Harry Potter series with children's literature culminating in the publication of the two novels Il seggio vacante and Il Call of the Cuckoo. Again according to what Rowling said, The Ickabog it was written in parallel to the writing of the books of the wizard of Hogwarts.

The Ickabog it will be published on the official website of the project from 26 May to 10 July.
