Salary & Pay Scale Details

  • Specialist Grade II (Junior Scale)
    • Pay Scale / Matrix: Pay of ₹67,700/- in Level-11 of the Pay Matrix of the 7th CPC.
    • Additional Allowances: Non-Practising Allowance (NPA) is applicable as per rules.
  • General Duty Medical Officer (GDMO)
    • Pay Scale / Matrix: Pay of ₹56,100/- in Level-10 of the Pay Matrix of the 7th CPC.
    • Additional Allowances: Non-Practising Allowance (NPA) is applicable as per rules.
  • Child Psychologist
    • Pay Scale / Matrix: Pay of ₹56,100/- in Level-10 of the Pay Matrix of the 7th CPC.

Note: Standard central government allowances (such as Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, and Transport Allowance) will be admissible dynamically alongside the basic pay according to current guidelines.

Exam Pattern

Selection Scheme & Post-Wise Components

The mode of selection depends strictly on the profile of the post applied for:

  • General Duty Medical Officer (GDMO) & Child Psychologist: Selection is based on a Computer-Based Test (CBT) followed by a Personal Interview.
  • Specialist Grade II (Junior Scale): Evaluation is conducted through a Personal Interview only (unless the number of applications necessitates a preliminary written screening).

Computer Based Test (CBT) Structure

  • Mode of Exam: Online Computer-Based Test (CBT) only.
  • Language Medium: English language only.
  • Total Questions: 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
  • Total Marks: 400 Marks.
  • Test Duration: 90 Minutes (1 Hour 30 Minutes).

Marking Scheme

  • Correct Answer:+4 Marks for every correct response.
  • Unattempted Questions:0 Marks (No penalty applied for questions left blank).
  • Negative Marking (GDMO & Child Psychologist):-1 Mark will be deducted for every incorrect response.
  • Negative Marking (Specialist Grade II): There is no negative marking for Specialist Grade II posts.

Exam Centers

  • Center Allocation: Based on candidate preference and availability
