Application Fee

- Primitive Tribe (PVTG) Category:

Age Limit & Selection Process
- Age Limit: Minimum 21 years (as on 01/08/2026) no upper age limit
- Selection Process: Written Exam (Paper 1 for Primary / Paper 2 for Upper Primary) - Qualifying Exam for Teacher Eligibility

Primary Teacher (Class 1-5) - Paper 1 Eligibility Test
- 10+2 Intermediate with minimum 50% marks AND a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed / BTC).
- OR 10+2 Intermediate with minimum 50% marks AND a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed)
- OR Graduation with a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed).
- Note: B.Ed degree holders are NOT eligible for Paper 1.Age and category relaxations apply as per JAC rules.
Upper Primary Teacher (Class 6-8) - Paper 2 Eligibility Test
- Graduation / Post Graduation with minimum 50% marks AND a Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).
- OR Graduation with a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed).OR 10+2 Intermediate with minimum 50% marks AND a 4-year integrated BA/B.Sc.B.Ed or BA.Ed/B.Sc.Ed.Subject-specific qualifications apply based on chosen groups (Maths & Science, Social Studies, or Languages).
- Age and category relaxations apply as per JAC rules.
Salary & Pay Scale Details
- Primary Teacher (Classes 1 to 5) - Paper 1:
- Pay Level: Level 4
- Pay Scale: ₹25,500 - ₹81,100/-
- Starting Basic Pay: ₹25,500/-
- Upper Primary Teacher / TGT (Classes 6 to 8) - Paper 2:
- Pay Level: Level 5 / Level 7 (Depending on direct assistant/graduate trained categorization)
- Pay Scale: ₹29,200 - ₹92,300/- (Level 5)
- Starting Basic Pay: ₹29,200/-
- Allowances & Perks: Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), Transport Allowance (TA), Medical Allowance, and Pension/EPF benefits as per Jharkhand Government rules.
Exam Pattern
- Mode of Exam: Offline (OMR Pen-Paper Based)
- Question Type: Objective Type (Multiple Choice Questions - MCQs)
- Total Questions: 150 questions per paper
- Total Marks: 150 marks per paper
- Time Duration: 2 Hours 30 Minutes (150 Minutes total)
- Marking Scheme:+1 mark for every correct answer
- Negative Marking:NO Negative Marking for incorrect or unattempted answers
- Medium of Exam: Bilingual (Both Hindi and English)
Paper I (Primary Level: Classes 1 to 5)
- Child Development & Pedagogy (CDP): 30 Questions / 30 Marks
- Language I (Hindi / Urdu: 15 Qs + English: 15 Qs): 30 Questions / 30 Marks
- Language II (Regional or Tribal Language): 30 Questions / 30 Marks
- Mathematics: 30 Questions / 30 Marks
- Environmental Studies (EVS): 30 Questions / 30 Marks
- Total: 150 Questions / 150 Marks
Paper II (Upper Primary Level: Classes 6 to 8)
- Child Development & Pedagogy (CDP): 30 Questions / 30 Marks
- Language I (Hindi / Urdu: 15 Qs + English: 15 Qs): 30 Questions / 30 Marks
- Language II (Regional or Tribal Language): 30 Questions / 30 Marks
- Subject Specialization Section (Choose Only One based on your stream): 60 Questions / 60 Marks
- Maths & Science Teachers: Maths (25Q) + Science (25Q) + Computer (10Q)
- Social Science Teachers: Social Studies (50Q) + Computer (10Q)
- Language Specialist Teachers: Main Language (50Q) + Computer (10Q)
- Total: 150 Questions / 150 Marks
