Jewels of the Week: April 2021

Posted on the 30 April 2021 by Pricescope @pricescope

Each Friday on the PriceScope Facebook page we celebrate the Jewel of the Week! from the Show Me the Bling! forum, one recently posted jewelry piece belonging to a PriceScope member is chosen to be featured. We love this tradition, and we love getting to enjoy all that new bling! These were the Jewels of the Weeks for April 2021.

Jewels of the Week: April 2021

Madam Bijoux shared this amazing nature-inspired ring with us. The post was titled "Celebrating Spring," and that is exactly what this is, a celebration of nature and growth. The amount of sparkle that comes off this ring is incredible, and the wrap-around vine is a beautiful look. Madam Bijoux has such an incredible collection that when a new post appears, we know it is going to be something amazing!

STATISTICS:

Total Carat Weight: 1.19
.27ct round total, .92ct marquise total

Jewels of the Week: April 2021

JPie shared the sensational Jennifer Topaz with us. This Victorian pink ring took our breath away. Hurray for more spring colors! The chunky OMC side stones and the Old Swiss Cut halo create enough light to practically put a spotlight on the center oval topaz. We knew Jennifer Topaz was a star, we are all glad that we got to enjoy her performance! Absolutely gorgeous and we hope that she continues to bring JPie a lot of happiness now and in the future.

STATISTICS:

Elongated oval pink topaz about .90 ct.

The old mine cuts are approximately .35 and the other .40.

The old Swiss cut halo (with one old transitional replacement) works out to be approximately .16 carats. (20 diamonds total)

Jewels of the Week: April 2021

Natylad shared this gorgeous and meaningful ruby and diamond tennis bracelet with us. This beautiful bracelet is the second ruby and diamond jewelry piece that Natylad was gifted by her father. These are not only lovely. These gifts are also a symbol of the love and support that she has during her battle with breast cancer. We are all pulling for you, Natylad. May these pieces be a bright and beautiful reminder of a difficult time, but also a symbol of the support and strength you fought with!

STATISTICS:

The bracelet is made of 20 oval cut rubies (15tcw and 38 round cut diamonds, which are of H color and VS1 clarity).

Jewels of the Week: April 2021

Bruin Ring shared this fabulous Whiteflash diamond engagement ring with us. This ring garnered Bruin Ring a YES, which always makes a ring amazing...but this is also gorgeous! It's such a fun addition to the story when a bride-to-be is deeply involved in the ring creation journey. There was a travel delay due to the winter storms. They were not to be deterred and made the trip work as soon as they could.

Ultimately, they chose the diamond that Bruin Ring had reserved. Well-chosen, Bruin Ring! We hope that your marriage is long and filled with wealth, health, and happiness. The matching band surprise was incredibly thoughtful and lovely as well. Whiteflash does phenomenal work, this is another example of that. Keep sharing the jewels that you share between you, if this is an example of your taste we want to see it all!

Paisley2628 shared this unbelievable diamond cluster ring that they created with many of their repurposed diamonds (and a few new ones). This beauty reminds us (and Paisley2628) of a daisy, and we are all ready for some spring flowers in our lives. The fancy yellow OEC is TDF and David Klass created something really special in this ring. The finger coverage is delicious. This is an incredible piece, congratulations Paisley2628!

STATISTICS:

The Center diamond is a 1.18ct Light Fancy Yellow OEC VS2 and the cluster is 1.93cts of G-H VS1-SI1 OEC diamonds. The face of the ring is 15.76 mm in diameter.

April has been an awesome month for some of our PriceScopers, we are so thrilled to see that you have added such beauty to your collections!

Thank you for sharing your magnificent jewels with us and helping to celebrate PS members' pieces every week! We look forward to seeing the newest additions in the Show Me the Bling! forum.
