Hit And Run Leaves One Dead Early Sunday Morning In NYC
A hit-and-run driver struck down six people, eventually leaving one dead, following a knife fight outside of a Queens hookah bar early Sunday morning, according to police. Cops found at least one person dead at 129th St. and Liberty Ave. just before 5 a.m. in South Ozone Park.
A video of the mayhem was obtained exclusively by the Daily News, shows the Sonata driving quickly before jumping the curb and traveling down the sidewalk, headed straight for the pedestrians. About 5 seconds later, a silver Nissan SUV can be seen doing a U-turn on Liberty Ave., and tearing onto the sidewalk behind the Sonata, in apparent pursuit of the first car.
