Imagine you’re Elizabeth Hasselbeck. You’re a blonde woman, who rose to fame competing on Survivor, and somehow over the course of the last 10 years has become a semi-spokesperson for the Republican party. Finally, you get offered a “real job” on Fox News, and you think you’re important. You’ve made it. Your old job then, looking to replace the “void” you left behind, replaces you with Jenny McCarthy.
Jenny McCarthy rose to fame when she appeared nude in Playboy in 1993, and then became the Playmate of the Year. She’s starred in such amazing movies like Weiners and The Stupids. She also believes that vaccinations cause Austim, which has left her at odds with the scientific community as a whole. She now has a microphone to speak into on The View.
This is who they replaced Elizabeth Hasselbeck with. This is what they truly thought of what Hasselbeck contributed to the show. Rosie O’Donnell was replaced with Whoopi Goldberg. Hasselbeck with McCarthy. Even so, I can’t help but feel that this still might be a step up.
