We freeze the tapioca puree during our harvest. So it is really easy to whip up an afternoon snack. This time, it is our helper's idea of this Jemblem (Tapioca Bite). It is a traditional Javanese snack. We did ours without filling but you can add palm sugar as filling.
Pretty addictive, I just can't stop at two. Practically guilt-free as it only has tapioca and a little sugar.
What you need:
250g tapioca puree2 tbsp sugara pinch of salt
Method:
Combine all the ingredients together and form a ball.
Fry with some oil until golden.
Drain and serve.
Enjoy!
