Another day, another Jeep Grand Wagoneer teaser. This time it's all about the Motor City. The mark tweeted Friday two new photos of the large SUV showing a massive glass roof with a large old map of Detroit, Michigan. Jeeps are often known for their little nod to the past or heritage, but the huge map takes this practice to another level.
On the one hand, it is very nice to see that this element is integrated. On the flip side, some of us here think it might be a little over the top, although it certainly emphasizes the "floating roof" style that is so popular with automakers these days. It remains to be seen whether the card on the glass roof will find its way to production. It seems like a tedious styling feature for a production vehicle. On the other hand, we don't build cars. Fiat Chrysler does.

The bird's eye view of the Grand Wagoneer also gives us a good insight into the size of the SUV and looks positively massive. The four large doors are no surprise, but it looks like there's a huge amount of space behind the first two rows of seats.
In the second photo part of today's teaser, we take another look at the Grand Wagoneer's cabin, and it looks pretty neat based on the detailed shots Jeep has taken us so far. The photo just shows what the rear vent looks like, but the details, man. There's some sort of storage space underneath the vent, and on the side there's an etched silhouette of the original Grand Wagoneer with the original production date of 1963.
