JEE Advanced Eligibility Criteria

Students should know the eligibility criteria of JEE Advanced 2021 before filling the application form. In the following points, we are describing here the eligibility criteria. You must fulfill all the terms and conditions of the eligibility criteria to apply for the exam.

  • Nationality of the Candidate - Indian National (including OCI/ PIO), as well as foreign national students will be eligible for the examination.
  • Required Qualification - must must have qualified 12th examination from any recognized board or University to be eligible.
  • Percentage Requirement - You must have scored at least 75% marks in the qualifying exam (65% for SC/ ST/ PwD) to be eligible for the examination.
  • Mandatory - It will be mandatory to qualify JEE Main 2021 examination to be eligible for JEE Advanced 2021.
  • Age Limit Criteria - Student must have born on or after 1stOctober 1994. There will be 5 years of relaxation for reserved category students.
  • Total Attempts - You will be only allowed to attempt JEE Advanced two times in two consecutive years.
  • Performance in JEE Mains - Aspirant must come under the top 2, 45,000 qualifying candidates in paper 1 of JEE Main 2021 (including all categories).

JEE Advanced 2021 Application Form

In the JEE Advanced From, you will need to enter personal details like the Candidate's Name, Father's Name, Mother's Name, Valid Email id, Valid Mobile Number, etc. The application form for this exam will be released in online mode only. Aspirants are requested to enter all details in the form as per their certificate records. Your candidature may get canceled if you provide any wrong detail in the form. JEE Advanced Admit Card will be available from May 2021. It will be released through online mode only. Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi will release the JEE Advanced admit card 2021 on the official website - jeeadv.ac.in. To download the Admit Card, students need to enter their Login ID and Password. Aspirants have to make sure that they download Hall Ticket well before the specified date and verify the details mentioned on it. It will be available only for those candidates who successfully submit the application form for the examination and pay the required fee. No Hard Copy or Soft copy of the Admit Card will be sent separately to any students through mail, post or any other medium.

JEE Advanced 2021 Exam Pattern

Here you can check the exam pattern for JEE Advanced 2021 entrance exam. It will help you in the preparation. By knowing the exam pattern you will get a basic idea of the question paper. Check here in the following points.

  • Mode of the Exam - Computer Based Test (CBT)
  • Language - Question paper will be made available in English or Hindi language.
  • Total Paper: There will be two papers as Paper I & Paper-II.
  • Type of Questions - Question paper will consist of the Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ).
  • Duration - Candidates will get 6 hours (Paper 1 and 2) to qualify the examination.

JEE Advanced 2021 Result

Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) will release the JEE Advanced 2021 result on the official website. Students can check their JEE Advanced result 2021 using their application number and password. The result will be in the form of scorecard mentioning details of students marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics along with the total score in both Paper I and Paper II, rank in Common Rank List (CRL), category and candidates details. Counselling Process

JEE Advanced 2021 counseling will be followed by filling the admission form to apply for admission in the colleges. The Counselling process will start after the declaration of the result. The test leading expert to discharge the different merit list for all programs or courses. Based on the student's performance in the selection test, the merit list is prepared. If two applicants score similar marks, at that point tie-breaking will be considered. The authority will also publish the branch-wise cut-off marks for admission in all IITs.
