After reaching Istanbul, a short drive to the hotel was enough to leave us mesmerized by the beauty of the city. We also crossed the beautiful Bosphorus River. We checked into the hotel, rested for some time and decided to enjoy this day of leisure to the fullest. The feeling that there was an entire city for us to explore was amazing. We set out to explore some of the nearby places including the Hagia Sophia Museum and its mosque.

We got to see the Grand Bazaar where you can find some Turkish show pieces, beautiful lamps and beautiful Turkish costumes. As its name suggests, the Grand Bazaar is a massive shopping space in Istanbul, with over 4,000 shops on 61 covered streets. We had a great time walking around the streets of Istanbul. Out Hotel was located close to Grand Bazaar and some other tourist places, making it perfect for us. In the evening, we also went to the beach and were mesmerized by the stunning skyline of the city. The view of Galata Tower and other buildings was amazing. We ended our day with a delicious dinner of kanafeh and some Turkish sweets.

2. Pasabagh Valley – Cappadocia

We woke up early and went to the airport for the flight to Kayseri. There was a big surprise for us here. When we were about to reach Kayseri Airport, from the plane we could see snow all around the city. We had no idea that this could happen. We weren't prepared to deal with snow. When we landed the temperature was -8 degrees Celsius. Then a guy took us from Kayseri to Cappadocia. Amazing views were seen during the journey. All vehicles and trees were covered with snow. It had rained just a day before, so the snow was light and clear, like white. The sun seemed bright that day. We were a little late in reaching Cappadocia so our tourist guide Nilaya joined us and we started straight away visiting the places. We visited Devrent Valley, Pasbagh Valley and Uchisar Castle. We had our lunch in a cave hotel. And then we went to our hotel. The Cave Hotel was a beautiful experience. You must check out the room we got. It was very romantic and relaxing. We slept and talked for a while and took pictures of the beautiful valleys outside.

3. Gorami Open Air Museum – Cappadocia

We woke up at 4 am for the much awaited hot air balloon ride. We started the journey at 7:30 and every second of the journey was worth it. It was an hour long journey. We took lots of photos and videos to remember this beautiful experience. Once we came down from the balloon ride we all had a fruity champagne and celebrated. Then we returned to the hotel to freshen up and left for other places by 11 am. We went to Gorami Open Air Museum, Underground City, some scenic spots, Pigeon Valley. We saw hundreds of pagans in the valley. it was beautiful. Then we had lunch in the middle and by 5 o'clock we were dropped at Kayseri Airport. We had a flight to Izmir at 11 pm. We arrived in Izmir and it was about a 2 hour drive to Kusadasi.

We woke up at 8am and had a hearty breakfast and left for Pamukkale. The journey to Pamukkale was 3 hours. It was raining that day. It was a beautiful place. The hot water of the springs was a unique experience. Then we went to an old time open air theatre. It was very big and beautiful. Then we returned to Kusadasi by 5 pm and had lunch in between. After resting for 1 hour, we set out for a walk on the sea shore. The statue of liberty with hands was very nice. We felt very peaceful and relaxed there. We took many pictures and went for some shopping. After that we had delicious pizza at Domino's near our hotel and went to sleep.

We started the day at 9:30am after a lovely breakfast at the hotel and went to see the city of Ephesus. It was an entire city that went underground over time and has now been reorganized. It had a lot of stone structures and old age architecture which was quite interesting to see. We saw Celsius Library there. it was very big. It also had an open air theater with a capacity of 25000 people. it was very big. After visiting Ephesus, we went to see the Temple of Artemis which was one of the 7 wonders. We also visited the House of the Virgin Mary and went again to the airport in Izmir for our flight to Istanbul. We also ate the pasta for dinner that we had liked so much on the first day.

We reached Istanbul by midnight and rested all night. We knew the next day would be extremely exciting. In the morning, immediately after a delicious breakfast, we started Istanbul city tour. The highlight of the day was the extremely iconic and grand Blue Mosque. We also visited the Hippodrome and Tokakapi Palace. The cloudy-rainy weather affected the landscape of the entire city and also our experience. After spending plenty of time exploring Istanbul, we enjoyed a delicious Indian-Punjabi meal at a place recommended by our guide. After lunch we finally left to catch our flight, said goodbye to beautiful Turkey, and took back a bag full of good memories.
