January Favourites

January FavouritesIt's that time again... where I talk about my favorite products this month and it's been difficult to narrow it down, with Christmas last month there's been quite a few new products I've tried out and really liked but these five made the cut!
Origins Drink Up Intensive Overnight Mask not only smells amazing, but it really does hydrate the skin and leave it feeling so soft. I apply this before bed and wake up to baby soft skin and dry areas look so much better. I received this as part of the Mask Marvels set which was a gift for Christmas and I'm so pleased with it, the other drink up mask is great for a little burst of moisture. I've not used the clay mask from the set yet, but I'm sure I'll be happy with that too!Maybelline's The Rocket mascara is one I picked up in Boots early this month. I'd heard Essiebutton raving about it in one of her videos and thought, "well, that's definitely worth trying out". I got it on offer with the Baby Skin primer (post here) and I'm really impressed. It gives length and volume to my lashes and doesn't crumble off during the day.Emporio Armani Diamonds Rose smells amazing! Another Christmas gift and I think I've worn this almost every day so far. It's a fresh, floral scent (as you'd probably guess from the 'rose' in the name) and just look at that bottle.I really like the shade of the Rimmel's 60 Second Nail Varnish. It's called 'little bo peep', a lovely pale gray and looks great. It does take a few coats to build up the color though which is just a little niggle as the coats do dry pretty quickly (whether or not it's 60 seconds, I'm not too sure).
Lanolips Lemonaid Lip Aid is a new discovery. I think I read about it somewhere or heard someone mention it in a video and figured I'd try it out. It really does moisturise the lips, with Lanolin as one of the key ingredients (I think it's the top one) it's no surprise it leaves them super soft and it's cruelty free with natural ingredients. The lemon scent and taste isn't harsh (I really like it) and it's great as a base for lipsticks if you don't want to stain your lips or as a glossy coat on top. The only downside for me is the flat applicator, I'd prefer a slanted tip which I think other Lanolips balms have. What's been your favorite product this month? You can follow me on Bloglovin | Twitter | Facebook | Instagram
