Batman TV Day (1966)-- The 1966 series was based on the DC Comics characters created by Bob Kane in 1939. Adam West starred as millionaire Bruce Wayne and his superhero alter ego, Batman. Burt Ward costarred as Dick Grayson/Robin, the Boy Wonder. The 120 episodes aired on the ABC network for three seasons from January 12, 1966, to March 14, 1968, twice weekly for the first two and weekly for the third. Source

- Celebrates the sweet, malleable almond paste confection marzipan. An international food, marzipan is enjoyed through its taste and appearance, as it is often shaped to resemble other things, usually tiny fruits or animals.
National Pharmacist Day
- A day to honor pharmacists, and recognize their important role in medical care. A Pharmacist must be knowledgeable of the chemistry of all medicines. They can inform you of a drug's side effects, and all aspects of prescription medicine. - The US House of Representatives rejected a proposal to give women the right to vote in 1915. Women gained the right to vote in 1920.
