True Blood‘s Janina Gavankar is joining Fox’s midseason comedy The Goodwin Games in a recurring role.
From How I Met Your Mother exec producers Carter Bays, Craig Thomas and Chris Harris, the high-concept comedy follows three estranged siblings — played by Becki Newton, Scott Foley, seen this season on True Blood as Terry’s war buddy, Patrick, and TJ Miller — who are forced to come together in order to inherit their late father’s fortune.
Gavankar, whose pre-True Blood credits include The L Word, The Gates and Traffic Light, will play Hannah, the ex-girlfriend (and baby mama) of Miller’s character.
