True Blood’s Janina Gavankar has booked a pilot, with CBS. It’s an untitled hybrid comedy written by former Modern Family executive producer Dan O’Shannon and Peter Warren. Gavankar has been tapped for the regular role of Sabrina, though her casting is in a guest starring capacity as she is regular on Mysteries Of Laura, which is uncertain for renewal. Gavankar replaces Noureen DeWulf, who was cast last week. The change was made after the pilot’s table read.
