Let’s hope this bit of casting news isn’t a sign of Luna‘s fate on Sunday’s season finale of HBO‘s True Blood. Janina Gavankar has been cast in a recurring role on Fox‘s new show ‘The Goodwin Games’. In a neat twist one of the show’s stars is Scott Foley who guest-starred on True Blood this season as Terry Bellefleur‘s army buddy Patrick Devins.
‘The Goodwin Games’ will be a mid-season comedy on Fox and will follow three estranged siblings (Foley, Becki Newton and TJ Miller) who are forced to come together to inherit their father’s fortune. Gavankar will be playing Hannah, the ex-girlfriend of Miller’s character and mother of his child. Her role is said to be recurring and no air date for the show has been set.
