Last night, the big debut was Jane The Virgin, which opened to 1.6M viewers and a 0.7 in the demo. Not only did it build on lead in The Originals (1.3M/0.7), but it also doubled the audience from last years Beauty and the Beast (900K/0.3).

Other new shows did OK. Recently picked up Gotham landed 6.2M and 2.4 in the demo, followed by Sleepy Hollow (4.8M/1.7). On CBS, Scorpion (11.5M/2.5) continues to look ripe for a full season order, as it is stuck in the middle of The Big Bang Theory (15.6M/4.6) and NCIS Los Angeles (9.1M/1.6).

Dancing With The Stars (12.5M/1.9) continues to lose to The Voice (13M/3.9), and Castle (9.3M/2.0) is losing also to The Blacklist (9.8M/2.8).
