I am so happy for Katie Holmes’ hand. I bet it was looking forward to this day for at least two years, dreaming every night of the moment it could finally slip into Jamie Foxx’s hand and parade in front of the photographers. No doubt her hand woke up extra early that morning to lotion itself up, dust its knuckle with a little setting powder, swipe some Vaseline across its metaphorical smile, and whisper “It’s showtime!” into the vanity mirror.
