WorldStar Hip Hop joined Pastor Jamal Bryant and New Birth Super Bowl weekend in Atlanta for community outreach.
On Saturday the owners of the Hip Hop site were on hand at New Birth to help Bryant fulfill his vision of handing out bags of can goods to families in Decatur Georgia.
Rapper SIlento’ also came out to support Bryant and New Birth.
InstagramDr. Bryant also gave Super Bowl Sunday a twist at New Birth. He called it “Soup & Soul” Sunday. The church bussed people in from area homeless shelters and fed and ministered to them.
If you recall, Dr. Bryant has boycotted the NFL since the injustice that was done to former San Francisco 49’ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick.
On Sunday celebrities like Ava DuVernay, Common, Zendaya, and Nick Cannon also boycotted the Super Bowl in support of Kap.
I will not be a spectator, viewer or supporter of the #SuperBowl today in protest of the @NFL’s racist treatment of @Kaepernick7 and its ongoing disregard for the health + well-being of all its players. To watch the game is to compromise my beliefs. It’s not worth it. #ImWithKap pic.twitter.com/fNEeke0crs
